At HourlyHired.com, we stand behind every product we sell. If one of our guides didn’t help you, we want to make it right. This page explains exactly how refunds work, when you’re eligible, and how to request one.
The short version: You have 30 days from your purchase date to request a full refund on any HourlyHired.com digital product for any reason, no questions asked. Email us at hazel@hourlyhired.com and your money will be returned to your original payment method within 5 business days.
1. What This Policy Covers
This refund policy applies to all digital products sold by HourlyHired.com, including but not limited to:
- Fast Track To Hired (the main paid guide and its included bonuses)
- Any other paid digital download offered through our website or our Gumroad storefront (hourlyhired.gumroad.com)
2. The 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
Every paid digital product from HourlyHired.com comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. Here’s how it works:
- You have 30 calendar days from the date of purchase to request a refund.
- No reason required. You don’t have to explain yourself. You don’t have to fill out a survey. You don’t have to prove you “tried” the material.
- You can keep the bonuses. If you bought a product that came with bonus materials (like Fast Track To Hired with its 5 bonuses), you’re welcome to keep those downloaded files — our gift for giving us a try.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout (credit card, PayPal, etc.) and typically appear in your account within 5 business days, depending on your bank or payment processor.
Why 30 days?
We chose 30 days because that’s genuinely enough time to read any of our guides cover-to-cover and apply the core strategies. Our products are designed to be actionable within a single evening. If the material isn’t helping you after a week of access, it’s probably not going to — and we’d rather give you your money back than have you feel stuck with something you don’t use.
3. How to Request a Refund
Requesting a refund is intentionally simple:
- Send an email to hazel@hourlyhired.com from the same email address you used to purchase.
- Include your Gumroad order number if you have it handy (it’s in the receipt email Gumroad sent you at purchase). If you don’t have it, no problem — we can look it up.
- That’s it. You don’t need to explain why. You don’t need to send screenshots. You don’t need to wait for a reply before the refund starts processing.
We aim to respond to refund requests within 1 business day. The refund itself will be processed the same day we acknowledge the request.
4. Refunds on Gumroad Directly
If you purchased through our Gumroad storefront, you can also request a refund through Gumroad’s built-in system:
- Log into your Gumroad account at gumroad.com using the email address you purchased with.
- Go to your Library and find the product.
- Click the three-dot menu and select “Request refund.”
We receive those requests directly and will honor them under the same 30-day terms described above.
5. After the 30-Day Window
Refund requests received more than 30 calendar days after purchase are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. We’d rather have a satisfied former customer than an unhappy “stuck” one, so if something went genuinely wrong — the file didn’t download, you were charged twice, a family emergency prevented you from using the product — please email us anyway. We reserve the right to issue discretionary refunds outside the 30-day window and we often do.
However, routine “I changed my mind” requests made after the 30-day window may be declined. Please request your refund promptly if you decide the product isn’t for you.
6. What We Don’t Refund
To keep our policy fair to everyone, the following situations are not eligible for refunds:
- Abuse of the guarantee. Repeat buyers who purchase, refund, then re-purchase the same product multiple times may be declined. Refunds are a trust-based system; we honor it with everyone who honors it with us.
- Products purchased through third-party resellers (other than Gumroad) where HourlyHired.com is not the merchant of record. Please contact the seller you purchased from.
- Results-based claims. Our guides are educational tools and do not guarantee employment. A refund cannot be requested on the basis that following the guide “did not get me hired.” Employment outcomes depend on many factors outside our control — local job market, your individual situation, and the consistency with which you apply the material. What we guarantee is the quality and completeness of the education itself, not specific outcomes.
7. Chargebacks
If you’re unsatisfied with a purchase, please email us first. A direct refund request is always faster, simpler, and more reliable than initiating a chargeback with your credit card company.
Chargebacks filed without first requesting a refund through us or Gumroad will be disputed with evidence that a refund was available through this policy. This protects both us and future customers — repeated chargebacks against a seller can result in payment processing restrictions that affect everyone.
8. Fraudulent or Unauthorized Purchases
If you believe your payment method was used to make an unauthorized purchase on our store, please contact us at hazel@hourlyhired.com immediately. We take fraud seriously and will work with you and Gumroad to resolve unauthorized transactions, regardless of the time elapsed since the purchase.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this refund policy from time to time to reflect operational changes or legal requirements. Any changes apply only to purchases made after the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Purchases made under a previous version of this policy remain governed by that version.
